What I think Roosevelt is saying is that the future presidents must be educated about the body, mind ,and character for them to successfully decide the future of the nation. He is telling us that the most important thing in life is to good and have good morals and to be educated and healthy and wise about your decisions in life. The greasest possible thing to do for our nation is have the people educated with the idea of good morals and wellbeing and of thier character.
