Cardiologist

A cardiologist is a licensed doctor that diagnoses and treats cardiovascular problems. For example the treat heart disease. They may prescribe pacemakers which make the heart beat when the heart doesn’t. These pacemakers are monitored by doctors to make sure the patient lives. Heart related problems the y treat/diagnose are heart failure, arrhythmia, heart attack, and heart disease. Cardiologist must ask the patients questions based off of their medical history.
Salary: $376,000

Educational requirements: A Doctoral degree in medicine and residency program in medicine and cardiology.

Reflection: I think I’d like to be one because they make a lot of money and I’m good at science of the heart and would probably make a good cardiologist.
