Audiologist
examines patients who have hearing problems. Audiologist can work at schools
and health care settings. Much of the audiologists work is on the need of
hearing aids. They must find the best possible way to discover the problem and
the best way to solve the problem. Their patients may be going through emotional
stress and the audiologist is able to identify the level of emotional or mental
stress the hearing loss may have caused to the patient.
Salary: $63,640-$88,426
Hourly pay $33.52
Educational
Requirement: A Doctoral Degree or Professional Degree in audiology and a Bachelor’s
Degree in a medical related field.
Reflection:
I don’t think I would like to be an audiologist because it’s not what I would
like to study for.
