dispatcher is an expert telecommunicater tasked to gathering information on
medical emergencies. They alert hospitals to send emergency medical service.
They are responsible for sending medical help to the location of the caller. If
it weren’t for them ambulances would not be dispatched to a location a fire or
collapsing building or for someone who is hurt. Their responsibility is making
sure ambulances get to people in need of assistance.
Salary: $37,040 per year or $17.45 per hour
Education: at least a high school education and
technical courses may vary depending on state
